OUR LADY OF TOLEDO SHRINE QUEEN OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY

BLESSED MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE GIVEN TO SALLY STEADMAN AT MIDNIGHT ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2005

(Blessed Mother arrived with St. Joseph during the 4rd decade of the Rosary.)

SALLY:  Blessed Mother is here.  She is inviting us all to unite with heaven on her special day.  A special day as we call our birthday.  She is asking us to unite with the celebration of heaven with the Father and her Son. Blessed Mother, you are over 2,000 years old and you look like a kid.  I wish I could have some of that, but I know it’s meant for you alone.  You’re ageless!  And to know what you know!  Thank you for inviting us.  Oh, we would have had our own celebration, but I’m sure we would have paid homage to you, but to have you with us on your special day.  Thank you for the privilege to have such an honorable person and to have you like no place in the world you have never been.  But you do look different tonight Blessed Mother!   I must admit.  I never saw you like this.  You sort of look like an icon.

BLESSED MOTHER:  Oh no child. I’m not an icon.  But I come to you tonight as Our Lady of Perpetual Help and all those who ask under that title I promise tonight I will never turn from you; but I cannot guarantee that you will get what you ask for because you know I am not God.  And sometimes when you ask for something, you are like little children, you want what you want; but He gives  you what is best for you. He gives what is best for you child.  He is a good Father.  And you must remember, if a 16 year old child asks for a corvette would a good father give it to that son?  No!  He doesn’t have control under that much power.  He cannot handle that much power.  A good father would say, not yet!  You must wait awhile.  And this is what our Father God does.  He does not always give us what we ask for.  We are like little children you know.  We ask for things that are not good for us or maybe not the right time.  It’s His time, not your time.  How much do you know about me under the title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help?  There have been many miracles.  The picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is a story in itself.  Oh, this is a beautiful picture of myself.  It is a picture that relates to me alone.  There was a disastrous fire in Chicago.  The fire was burning bright and the picture was almost destroyed, but it was saved and for many, many years it was lost.  No one knew where it ended up.  They finally found it in a quaint little church and it resides in the  proper place today where it came from.

SALLY:  Oh, this heavenly music.  Oh, Blessed Mother, they are really giving you a big day.  The music is beautiful.  Oh, how the angels sing.  They sing the sweetest songs I ever heard.  How beautiful!  Are you a little nervous Blessed Mother?  You look a little moving around!

BLESSED MOTHER:  Look at my feet child!  Look at my feet!

SALLY:  Oh, you’re not moving.  You’re dancing!  Happy Birthday, Blessed Mother!  Happy Birthday!  She’s dancing with the music.  Yes, you are human.  You are the mother of God, but you are fully human.  I can see your humanness in your eyes, how they sparkle.  In your eyes when you smile.  Even if we covered your face and just left your eyes out, we could see you smiling.  You smile with your eyes.  Oh, Blessed Mother, what a privilege to see you, to hear you talk.

BLESSED MOTHER:  At 12:00 O’clock tonight child, I will unite you with heaven to celebrate.

SALLY:  Well, if they’re dancing, maybe we ought to dance?

BLESSED MOTHER:  It wouldn’t hurt child!  Be happy!  Don’t be sad!  Be happy! Enjoy each other!  Enjoy the life that my Son has given you like I enjoy my heaven.  I wish that for each one of you tonight.  That you too will enjoy your heaven like I do.

SALLY:  But you know Blessed Mother, after you came today I thought of a question that I wanted to ask you and I didn’t think of it until after you were gone.  I hear music and I can even identify the instruments, like a concerto, its beautiful; but it’s a question, Blessed Mother.  Please don’t think less of me for asking such a simple question.  But I am simple, humble but simple.  How can they be dancing in heaven when their bodies are in the grave?

How can they be dancing and how can there be music playing when there are only souls up there?

BLESSED MOTHER:  Don’t say only child.  My Son can make a soul anything.  Souls do not have bodies, but spirits dance. And when spirits are happy, they let you know it.  Does that explain the answer to your question?

SALLY:  Yes, I guess so.  Not really though!  You know I don’t have the ability that you do.  It’s easy for you to understand everything.  You, the mother of God!  God!  God the Creator! The  Savior of the world!  You, His mother, talking to us tonight.  Talking like you’re just another person. You, the mother of God!

BLESSED MOTHER:  But I too was human child. I know what it’s like to hurt.  I know what it’s like to be sad.  Many who have watched their families die.  I too watched  my Son.  I watched my beloved Joseph.  I too know what suffering is.  There is not one of you have suffered like I have suffered.  Take care!  Take care my little bird!  Take care!  Do as you’re told!  Take care!  Watch the Shrine!  My beloved Shrine.  It was given to me by my Son and I let you use it.  You will never own it, but I will let you use it to complete the mission that I gave you.  Everything that is given to the Shrine belongs to me.  It is mine!  I come here only for a moment to stop and complete my mission, to save my little ones, and to bring many back to my Son.  I stopped here first and did not go any farther.  This is my beloved Shrine.  Continue to support it.  Oh, my child, I have plans for that Shrine.  My time and my pace, but it will happen.  Go forth with your plans my child.  Go forth with your plans.

SALLY:  I could ask you a lot of questions Blessed Mother, but I just don’t want to throw a ripe tomato in your face.  This is your happy day and I’m not going to bring any sorrow to you.

BLESSED MOTHER:  Rejoice and we will rejoice!  Cry and we will cry!

SALLY:  And when we cry, you cry.

BLESSED MOTHER:    Oh, I do child!  I do!  I see many and it makes me so sad to see many go into that dark black pit.  Those who could have been saved had they heard the messages. Spread the messages child.  Any way you can.  To save a soul is a guarantee to save your soul.  You can do it child!  You can do it!  I know you can do it! I saw your wings develop.  They are strong.  I know you can fly.  You can fly alone, but remember I will be there to support you if you fall.  Lest you stumble on a block, I will be there to pick you up.  I will leave you child.  Remember I am the source of all grace.  Through me to my Son, Jesus.  Through Jesus to Father God.  Remember child!  I have a special blessing that I will give you to make you strong.  This blessing was given to me by my Son.  A special blessing.  Keep the faith and I will give you the grace. I say welcome to all my children to came tonight.  Remember you are mine.  He gave you to me.  Remember I am His mother.  A good Son obeys His mother and when I ask for something, He don’t refuse me.  So ask my children!  All you who ask under the title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, I will bring that message to my Son.  Now I must join the rest who are celebrating my day of birth, my nativity.  But before I go my little one, I ask a favor of all of you.  To sing Silent Night.

SALLY:  Oh Blessed Mother, It’s kind of weird. We’re in September you know.  Yes.  Yes, Blessed Mother.  I know.  In heaven you celebrate every day as Christmas.

BLESSED MOTHER:   Every day is celebrated the birth of my Son. It’s an every day celebration.  Lest you forget what Christmas is, I ask you tonight to sing united Silent Night, Holy Night and join with me in celebration because this is a celebration.

SALLY:  I ask you Blessed Mother to bless my daughter.  She was born today on your birthday, September the 8th.  Hold her in your arms like you held the Christ Child when He hurt.  You wiped His hurts away and when you taught Him to walk and He stumbled He skinned His little knees, you picked Him up and you kissed His hurts away.  I ask you to do that. Our Lady of Toledo, Queen of Most Holy Rosary, pray for us.  O Holy Mother of God, Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.We feel pretty close to you Blessed Mother.  I feel comfortable talking with you now.  I use to be so upset I’d cry and scream, but I don’t any more.  I feel comfortable with you.  Oh, I get a little shook up, but I thank you for coming Blessed Mother.  You don’t know what that does to us.  It gives us strength.  We’re not like you!  We don’t have all that faith and strength.  We need a little shot in the arm once in awhile.  That’s coming.  When you come, you do all that for us.

BLESSED MOTHER:  You are my little ones.  My children, you never grow up.  You stay small.  My little children!

SALLY:  Tell your Son how much we love Him.  We worship Him, we praise Him, we thank Him, we bless Him, we adore Him!  Remember, I ask you Blessed Mother before you leave, go to your Son and ask Him to keep this Shrine united like you started it.  Let it continue to grow stronger.  I ask you to bless all the volunteers, all who have given so much time here and have given their love and their prayers.  I ask you to bless all those donors who have given of themselves, their prayers and the gifts that we need to keep going.  I ask you to especially bless John.  You know how he works.  He never stops.  He doesn’t know when to quit.  I ask you to give him the strength that he needs.  The trustees and I ask blessings too, Blessed Mother.  You know how weak I am.  You know how weak I am.

BLESSED MOTHER:  You are strong child.  You are a strong woman.  I chose you!  With all your weaknesses, I chose you!

SALLY:  Thank you, Blessed Mother.  I hope I live up to that.

All I ask is to do what you ask of me; nothing more, nothing less.  To do exactly what you ask of me.  Never to turn away and say, it’s too much.  Never, never would I ever do that.  The Ave Maria for a woman perfect enough, created just the way He wanted a mother. He created you.  Hail Mary full of grace.  The Lord is with you.  Blessed are you amongst all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, you are mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. And you Joseph, I say a prayer to you.  When I take my last breath, may I be like you St. Joseph, have Jesus and Mary at my side.  I ask this of you Joseph.  I didn’t talk much to you and you didn’t talk much to me.  I guess it’s enough to listen to your spouse.  Sometimes that’s what men do.  They listen to their wife.  She says a lot.  In a little while, she says a lot and she hit the nail on the head; what she has to say and what she wants.  She’s not bashful! Not bashful at all!  She knows what she wants and she wants us to do what she wants, not go on our own way and say; Oh, we can’t go on like this.  We have to change this and we have to change that - no!  When she established this Shrine, it was established the way she wanted it and that’s the way we promise and unite to keep it that way.  As long as I live, this place will never change.  Thank you Lord for giving us Your mother.  For allowing her to come down to us.  Thank you!  Thank you Joseph for letting us have her for a little while.  I think you probably feel a little jealous because she loves us so much. I don’t blame you. I’d hate to share my mother with so many people.  I think maybe Jesus feels that way a little bit too.  Look how many people He shares His mother with.  How would we like that if our mother shared the world.  But then He loves us just as much.  He loves us as much as her.  That’s why! I know!  I understand, Blessed Mother!  Let’s sing Happy Birthday again before she leaves.  (The people sang Happy Birthday and Silent Night to Blessed Mother.)  Who is playing the violin?

BLESSED MOTHER:  St. Cecelia.

SALLY:  I don’t know her very well.  I don’t know her. St. Cecelia, boy she can play that violin.  Almost like it’s talking.  It’s beautiful!  Your little feet are still dancing.  I can see them moving.  She’s gone.
