Our Lady of Toledo Shrine Mission Statement
Our Lady of Toledo Shrine is a unique sanctuary dedicated to peaceful
prayer, healing and reconciliation for the physically and spiritually
distressed. We advocate the unification of all faiths in global
prayer to protect the inherent human rights of the unborn and
to restore the sensitivity of the sweetness of life from conception
to natural death.
Path to Life Mission Statement
Path to Life is an interfaith life-affirming
organization, that provides a non-judgemental, physical and spiritual
support system for parents involved with an unplanned pregnancy.
We offer alternatives that protect the inherent human rights to
life of the unborn through pre- and post-natal care and counseling.
This includes housing, medical assistance, education, and/or adoption
opportunities in positive and safe surroundings. Our programs
are designed to encourage responsibility, build self esteem and
promote development of the practical skills needed for healthy
daily living.
PATH stands for Peaceful, Assistance,
Training and Housing
Our Goals are to:
Encourage life choices in a culture that
regards abortion as a method of birth control.
Restore acceptance and dignity to the concept which holds life
sacred the joy of creation.
Support physically, emotionally and spiritually, pregnant girls
and women.
Arrange for the delivery at the nearest hospital and render assistance
to the mothers during the birthing process.
Inform the public on the benefits of abstinence as a life style.
Provide spiritual and psychological healing to mothers who may
have had an abortion.
Provide opportunity for adoption for the children born as a result
of having been given life through the care of the Center by the
Shelter of the Little Lambs.
Provide practical life skills that assure the future of the children
and their mothers will be provided for, particularly, the physical,
spiritual, and mental well-being of the mothers.
The Blessed Mother and Our Lady of Toledo Shrine advocates
prayerful, peaceful, non-violent, practical alternatives to abortion.
